DHS is now training Special Operations Veterans how to catch child predators in a program they call H.E.R.O. Corps.

This is pretty great. The H.E.R.O. Corps, also known as the Human Exploitation Rescue Operative Corps, is a program started and ran by DHS  that is comprised of wounded veterans. This is giving many wounded veterans the opportunity to continue to contribute to their country after their service. The H.E.R.O. Corps gives veterans the computer forensic and law enforcement training they need to track down child predators.  After this check out what this wounded veteran does to help his community.

Child pornography is a widespread problem and wounded H.E.R.O. Corps graduates are learning the computer forensics skills needed to catch the perpetrators. Sgt. Tom Block talks about the duty. (Daniel Woolfolk/Staff)
