Shomer-Tec Titanium Escape Ring
If by some chance you plan on getting kidnapped or snatched up by someone you will probably find this ring pretty useful. The Shomer-Tec Titanium Escape Ring is actually pretty alright and I honestly don’t think this would be a bad part of anyone’s EDC kit.
The Shomer-Tec Titanium Escape Ring adds another tool to the operator’s E&E options for escaping captivity. It’s a simple but elegant-looking ring made of titanium, cut from solid barstock and polished to a mirror finish. But unlike all other rings, this one contains a saw and handcuff shim pick combination tool which is completely hidden from view when worn. Located on a finger, its always in the exact area needed to quickly access and deploy, even when handcuffed. The shim can be used to open single-locked handcuffs, while the saw can cut zip-ties, disposable handcuffs, duct tape, rope, and other non-metallic materials. This stainless steel tool is 2″ x 1/8″ x 1/64″, and its unusual flexibility allows it to curve around and be seated in the ring’s interior. Available in five ring sizes: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (you may need to order one size larger than your normal ring size). Made in USA.

Our model was given the Titanium Escape Ring to play with for 10 minutes after we gave her a 2 minute tutorial on how to operate it. We then handcuffed her with police issue cuffs and filmed it to show you just how easy it is to use. The intention of this product is to have a handy little tool at your disposal when you’re in a threatening situation (mugged, robbed, kidnapping, sex games gone bad…); this is NOT to be used against law enforcement’s detaining of you!!
Shomer-Tec Also Makes This Pretty Awesome Nickel Knife
“The blade of this innovative new covert escape tool is discreetly concealed inside of a nickel. Its small but effective hardened stainless steel blade can cut plastic zip-ties, cord, duct tape, etc., increasing the odds of escaping unlawful captivity. It’s a potentially lifesaving tool for undercover operatives and even civilians traveling in hostile regions. This unique micro tool was engineered to be both clandestine and pre-positioned for deployment. The most ignored things that people carry are coins; rarely does anyone pay the slightest attention to a bunch of coins, even during searches. Keep this along with some other coins in your pant’s back pocket, and it can be accessed even with your hands bound behind your back. To deploy the blade, run your fingernail along the nickel’s side clockwise with the “heads” side up, and the blade pivots out ready for use. The coin provides a solid grip handle. Weight: 0.18 oz. Made in USA.”
