Fitbits are cool, right? We’ve all seen the commercials, been oddly engrossed by their song selections and considered making a purchase. Well, if you haven’t you’re missing out because the Fitbit Blaze is a pretty impressive piece of technology. The smart fitness watch helps ward off sedentary tendencies, and it’s stylish. The watch has this sleek, minimal, too smart for you thing going on and offers more features than you’ll ever need. The Fitbit Blaze also feels good on the wrist. The band is comfortable, easy to adjust and lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap while the screen is more durable than others on the market.

After turning it on, the first thing I noticed was the crisp, clear and responsive display. The battery life is something else worth mentioning. No one wants to go through the trouble of getting all enthusiastic about a workout only to have a progress tracker die on them 5 minutes in. Fitbit claims up to 5 days of battery life, and they aren’t far off. Below are some other features worth mentioning.
Detailed Fitbit Blaze Review:
Does the everyday person need anything besides heart rate (which is very accurate), calorie burn and workout duration? No, but it’s nice to see. Data makes you feel like you’re doing something. It’s motivating. You can also supplement your hunger for food with an appetite for competition by taking advantage of Fitbit’s leaderboard.
SmartTrack – The Fitbit Blaze will automatically record physical activity and log it. We all forget sometimes. Perhaps you were watching Rocky, got wrapped up in that inspiring training montage (shed a tear) and headed out to do some training on your own without tracking the workout. Things happen.
On Screen Workouts – All you have to do is select one and follow directions. It coaches you throughout the entire workout with detailed on screen instructions.
Sports Modes – Rather than being limited to boring runs, you can choose from several activities including elliptical training, cycling, and even yoga.
Fitness Reminders – The Watch encourages you to take 250 steps per hour with fitness reminders throughout the day making it difficult to sit on your behind all day (well, unless you ignore the reminders).
Automatic Syncing – Automatically syncs to almost any device giving you easy access to all your stats.
Water Resistant – You can’t swim while wearing the watch but sports drink douses, sweat and splashes are fair game.
Sleep Tools – The watch can track your sleep (this includes duration and consistency), and you can set silent alarms to wake you up in the morning.

Overall, the Fitbit Blaze is impressive. The smart watch makes fitness tracking a breeze and is a quality product. It’s reliable, durable and offers all the features you don’t need but must have.
