On this trip, one whale decided that he wanted to be a bit of showoff. He was obviously feeling quite social and wanted to say ‘hello’ to everyone. One woman was filming the situation as it occurred.

In the video footage, you can tell that the boat begins to rock. In the distance, you can see a few whales fins flapping around. However, one in particular began to get closer and closer.

Then suddenly, an enormous whale happens to emerge out of the water. His entire body is visible to everyone on board. It was the closest any of them would ever get to a whale again.
