Hillbillies Heckle Marathon Runners In Tennessee
So the Franklin Half-Marathon took place in good ol’ Tennessee not too long ago and a group of banjo playing hillbillies decided to park next to the side of the road and cause a little trouble. As the runners ran by, this group of men who call themselves the “Bailey Road Pickers” spewed a bunch of clichéd hillbilly phrases like “you got a pretty mouth” and played the well-known banjo riff from the 1972 movie that made you never want to even step foot into the woods to go camping again. That’s right. Deliverance. Man I’ll tell you though, I love that song.
