Label check: the Stay-Chill is an alternative, not a newer version. It’s made by Stanley, the drinkware company, which has nothing to do with the hockey trophy. The name match is just a happy accident.
What matters in real use
- Insulation beats looks by the third period. A double-wall stein keeps beer cold through a full game. The acrylic trophy mug looked great but warmed up fast.
- It’s basically indestructible. Stainless steel survives the post-goal celebration slam on the coffee table.
